Two brothers from Germany, one apartment at Posto 6 – right where Copacabana ends at the fort and turns into Arpoador and Ipanema. Behind us lie months of paperwork, notary appointments and lessons in Portuguese. We pass that experience on to you, step by step.
Posto 6 · between Copacabana & Ipanema
We're Peter and Bernd – always in love with travelling and small adventures. One of them grew bigger than initially planned: our own apartment at Posto 6, at the quiet southern end of Copacabana, between the fort and the Pedra do Arpoador. There was no manual for it. We fought our way through CPF numbers, Brazilian notaries, exchange rates and rental management – sometimes improvising, sometimes with a good lawyer at our side.
Today we know the routes, the offices and the pitfalls – and why exactly this spot between Copacabana and Ipanema is so special. We're not an anonymous agency, but two brothers who went through exactly what you're planning – and who explain, in plain language, what really matters.
The name made us smile: above Ipanema rise the Dois Irmãos, the “two brothers”, Rio's striking twin peaks. The climb is one of the city's most beautiful hikes – steep, but rewarded with the finest view over Rio. That's exactly how we work with you: we take on the steep part, the view is yours.
From Posto 6, the iconic Rio is just a walk or a short ride away – beach, mountains and postcard views included.

A stylish apartment on Rua Júlio de Castilhos – at Posto 6, where Copacabana turns into Arpoador and Ipanema. On foot you're minutes from three of Rio's most beautiful beaches, surrounded by cafés, restaurants and everything that makes daily life easy.
